About the Artist
Pip Kjellgren is a Swedish American visual artist residing in the Arizona desert. Pip takes endless inspiration from nature and cosmos, travel, spirituality, psychology, and esotericism. Her digital work combines photo collage and drawn elements to reflect on the relationship between our bodies and our inner emotional world, interconnectivity, divinity, and themes of mythology, as well as pattern and ornamentation.
Pip studied at Edinburgh College of Art in Edinburgh Scotland, where she received a BA in Design -specializing in stained and architectural glass. Additional artistic education includes a stained glass apprenticeship at Vetrate Artistiche Toscane in Siena Italy, as well as a tattoo apprenticeship at Mirror Gallery Tattoo in Flagstaff Arizona.
